Yes, a real estate agent can be penalized with a substantial fine upward of $11,000. The drone operator can also receive a fine of $1,100 per occurrence.
Should an agent decide to pilot a UAV themselves to film their listing without a Part 107 license, the agent may be liable for penalties under both roles totaling over $12,100. In addition, the agent could potentially be disciplined by their local real estate board and NAR.
It should also be noted that your Brokers E&O insurance will not cover an aerial accident should your drone collide with and injure someone.

Yes, we do not virtual stage anything that has the potential of misrepresenting the actual physical structure of the property or fixture (i.e. false walls, garages, extra rooms, structural defects such as cracks in walls, countertops, concrete & pavement. Stained carpet will not be digitally corrected. If a lawn is dead, burnt in large areas or very poorly maintained, we will not alter its’ current condition. Along the same lines, dead shrubs and or trees will not be digitally replaced. Visible powerlines over, in front or behind the property will not be erased.
